Brad Pitt

Brad Pitt, a producer known for his handsome face as well as his versatility as actor. William Bradley Pitt was born in1963 in Oklahoma and started his acting career in 1987. His first leading role came with The Dark Side of the Sun in 1988.


He has been awarded with a Golden Globe Award, 3 Academy Award nominations, Screen Actors Guild Award and substantial media attention as the world’s most attractive man. His successful career as actor includes a few leading roles in assassination movies listed below in no particular order.

A movie from director Andrew Dominik, released in September 2012 places Pitt in a mob enforcer role. Hired by the bosses to eradicate those responsible, in this powerful mobster movie adapted from the George V Higgins novel.

The Assassination of Jesse James

Released in 2007 from director Andrew Dominik places Brad Pitt in the role of the unpredictable and infamous Jesse James. His nickname claims him to be the fastest gun in the West but Jesse James has big plans for his next heist, while launching pre-emptive strikes against everyone looking to claim the reward placed on his head.

Confessions of a Dangerous Mind

Directed by George Clooney features both Brad Pitt and Matt Damon as a dating game bachelors. The movie is a biographical spy comedy depicting the life of a popular game show host, claiming to be a retired CIA assassin. The cast included Julia Roberts, Drew Barrymore and Sam Rockwell who received a Silver Bear for Best Actor at the 2003 Berlin International Film Festival.

Mr & Mrs Smith

This film was released in 2007 from director Doug Liman gives Brad as John Smith, the opportunity to act with his wife, Angelina Jolie as Jane Smith. The movie portrays the couple in a stagnated marriage, however both has been hiding secrets from each other as they are operating as assassins for adversarial agencies. Both receiving the assignment to kill the same target brings the truth to the surface. Sparking a series of explosive attacks when they assigned to kill each other.

Inglorious Bastards

From directors Quentin Tarantino and Eli Roth was released in July 2009 featuring Quentin Tarantino in the role as first scalped Nazi. The movie features Pitt as Lt. Aldo Raine, in the 1st year of Germany’s occupation of France, Lt. Raine assembles Jewish soldiers in a team committed to violent acts against the Nazi’s including the goal to take their scalps. Raine and his men teams up with Bridget von Hammersmark, played by Diane Kruger, an undercover agent. The film was nominated for 8 Academy Awards including, Best Actor, Best Picture, Best Original Screenplay and Best Supporting Actor.

Brad Pitt sure is one of the biggest movie stars and although he was nominated several times for an Oscar Awards it finally came his way as producer of the movie 12 Years a Slave. His awards includes the MTV Movie Award for Best Fight – Mr & Mrs Smith; AFI Movies of the Year – Moneyball; BAFTA Award for Best Film – 12 Years a Slave; Critics Choice Movie Award for Best Acting – Inglorious Bastards, MTV Movie Award for Most Desirable Male – Seven, Interview with a Vampire and the Rembrandt Award for Best Actor – Seven Years in Tibet to name a few.
